The Xetta team has been busy working on our Q3 enhancements that are now live. These updates are designed with you in mind, helping to reimagine payment management and user experience.

What’s New
*NEW* Session Manager
The new Session Manager is the headline feature for this release. It brings a modern, intuitive design to one of the most heavily used tools in the legacy product.
Session Manager gives you a clear and complete snapshot of all register and system session activity. You can:
- See all open and closed sessions at a glance
- Drill into transactions, GL codes, and tender types
- Identify active register locations in real time
- Access detailed transaction lists directly through a modal
- Create system sessions and end-of-day reports directly in the browser
PDF reports replace Crystal Reports for a faster and more accessible experience. All core functionality from the legacy Session Manager is included, with a smoother user flow and improvements designed to help you get the right information faster.
Bulk Importing
Bulk importing is now available in the web browser version of Xetta. If you are not yet automating imports through the event processor, you can now manually upload your files directly from the Transactions page.
This ensures you can:
- Upload bulk files using any of the existing add-in formats
- Select the register location your data belongs to
- Close register sessions as part of the upload
- Stay fully informed with a progress bar and completion summary
Most importantly, there is no longer any need to download the legacy desktop client to reconcile bank statements. Everything happens securely in the browser, with immediate visibility of your imported transactions.
Events/Bookings Enhancements
Event Management has just stepped up a level with a smarter, more dynamic experience. View booking activity in real time without loading the desktop application. User access controls what each person can see, and the new summary page consolidates each event’s status into a single, clear view.
In the web browser version, you can now:
- View event status, capacity, and booking details at a glance
- Access attendee information, including paid status
- Use the new QR code feature to accept bookings right up to the door; successful payments appear instantly. This turns last-minute registrations into an easy process that keeps events moving smoothly.
What’s Next
More Flexible API First Integrations
The team is modernising the TranAdd integration with a new Payment Link approach. This provides more consistent configuration options and a more flexible integration model moving forward.
In-Person Payments with the New Register
Delivery of in-person payment functionality using the new register experience is progressing well and will continue through to the end of the year.
